During his visit to Tyrol, Jens Meier, CEO of the Port of Hamburg and President of the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH), invited us to the World Ports Conference 2024—an opportunity we were honored to accept. Witnessing the ambitions of such a vast and complex industry firsthand was truly inspiring. While challenges remain, Jens Meier’s message resonated throughout the event: "Wat mut, dat mut" – "What needs to be done, needs to be done." This spirit set the tone for the entire conference. With over 200 ports from 80 countries participating, our team gained invaluable insights and built connections with incredible innovators. Meeting so many inspiring people was a highlight, and I firmly believe that together, we can transform the industry.
